Join us for a guided day of fishing on the rivers of Minnesota. Fishing from a drift boat provides a comfortable experience and allows us to fish where others can’t go. Fly anglers and anglers who are more comfortable with spinning gear are both welcome.
A unique resource.
Smallmouth bass that reach the 20 inch range or larger are often 15 years old in the northern united states. Northern Drift Outfitters practices strict catch and release for these fish, to ensure they are around long after we are.
Wild scenery.
Rivers are an often overlooked resource in northern Minnesota. They have miles of untouched natural banks that hold true trophy fish. Spend your day quietly floating down river, catching fish, spotting bald eagles and more.

Northern Drift Outfitters uses RO Tailwater Skiffs for all our guided river float trips. These are top-quality drift boats, custom-built in Bozeman, Montana. This gives us a stable and comfortable platform for fishing rivers, with the ability to accommodate groups of up to 4 anglers.
